Christmas trip to Ontario

Spending time in Toronto and Muskoka

sunny -30 °C

My son Doug invited me to spend Christmas with him and his family. Am I ever glad I took him up on it! I arrived in Toronto on December 23rd and in a spontaneous move Doug and I visited my granddaughters Tanya and Shannon and grandson Geoff in their homes on December 24th. I can only guess what they thought about that but I loved it. Christmas Eve dinner at Doug's and daughter-in-law Linda's was very special......nine of my grand and great-grandchildren were there along with grandson-in-law Powin, Shannon's fiancé Ryan and Geoff and Cameron's partners Brittany and Sage. Grandson Chris and his partner Miriam are in London, England but joined us via FaceTime.

Christmas Day was a lot quieter but really perfect and on the 27th we drove to the family cottage in Muskoka for another couple of days of frigid but beautiful weather.

So a great week came to an end and I arrived home in Vancouver early Saturday morning in time to welcome the New Year at home.
