AMERICA'S NATIONAL PARKS...SEPT 2000

7000 KILOMETER DRIVING TRIP

This one needs an explanation. We gave up our car in 1994-----experiment in living green and even more simply. Effie felt guilty and suggested this driving trip since she thought I must miss driving. I didn't and it was a joint decision, but what the heck,so we rented a car and off we went to a truly wonderful holiday.
We went to Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon (stayed in a cabin on the north rim),Yellowstone and then on to Mount Rushmore extending our trip and having to get an extension on our rental car. We drove through Washington. Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona,Wyoming,Montana and South Dakota.
